Located 80 km from Bangkok, Ayutthaya is classified in the world heritage of the Unesco in 1991. The ruins are the memories of a city where thirty-three kings succeeded one another and 70 wars took place. It was then destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. A visit to these ruins represents a real leap in the past: it contains the remains of reliquaries towers, prangs and monasteries. It is one of the flagship destinations of Thailand.
